This week I hit the Red Carpet for TV ONE’s  Atlanta premier for there upcoming film ‘When Love Kills’. Some of Hollywoods biggest stars hit the carpet and had no problem weighing in on their preparation process and the backstory as to how the the Falicia Blakely story came about; including rapper turned actress Lil Mama.

For Lil Mama in particular this story hits close to home for as she revealed during our interview how she went through a recent traumatic experience herself right before filming the movie.

Actor Lance Gross known for typically playing the “good guy” role stepped outside of himself with this one, noting that he spoke with several pimps in Oakland and beyond to get a better grip on the preparation process for his role in the film.

‘When Love Kills’, shares the story of Falicia Blakely who at the young age of 16-years-old was already a mother.  Falicia (played by Lil Mama) is at odds with her own mother (played by Tami Roman) and soon begins working at a strip club. She meets Dino (played by Lance Gross), a man who quickly pulls her into a dangerous life of crime that changes everything she knows.
