Warriors Center JaVale McGee And WNBA Sister Imani Boyette Return To Flint For Championship Parade
Thats right; you read the caption right! NBA Champion JaVale McGee and WNBA sister Imani Boyette are heading to Flint, Michigan and they are bringing the Larry O’Brien trophy with them.
A victory parade to celebrate McGee and his Golden State Warriors winning the NBA finals took place yesterday (Sept. 6) at the International Academy of Flint and fans came out to support the fellow ‘Flintstones’.
McGee and his family were escorted by police as they started at the lawn of the Flint City Hall. Shortly after they took off toward the Flint Development Center to interact with local residents in that area.
