Fresh off a summer of signing a big contract with the New York Knicks, former Atlanta Hawks Guard Tim Hardaway Jr. has more exciting news that he’s ready to share with the world.
This season Hardaway Jr. will be taking his talents to Jordan Brand where he will be joining the likes of Russell Westbroook, Carmelo Anthony, Kwahi Leonard, Maya Moore and many more.
Over the summer Hardaway Jr. revealed that he inked a deal with Jordan Brand and will be one of the few current NBA Jordan athletes rocking the XXXII’s this season.
Throughout his college career and even into the first couple of season Hardaway Jr. was loyal to the Adidas brand, so much so that when I asked him about his favorite song off of Drake and Future’s ‘What A Time To Be Alive’ album he couldn’t even say the name of his favorite song out of respect for the brand he was signed with.
This announcement came on the heels of Tim deciding to be a sneaker free-agent to explore other options with his brand during his 4th NBA season.
During a recent interview with SLAM Hardaway Jr. revealed that his father was instrumental along with his agent in helping him secure his sneaker deal. “We’ve got some PE’s coming a lot of Knicks colorways. It will be great. I’m happy and excited to reveal them once the season keeps going,” said Hardaway Jr.
