It’s been a life changing adventure over the past few days for Penn State RB Saquon Barkley. Just three days after declaring for the 2018 NFL Draft Barkley revealed with a very candid post on Instagram, his decision to sign with Jay Z’s Roc Nation Sports.
Barkley has signed with Kim Miale of Roc Nation Sports, as he gets ready to take his career to the next level by fulfilling his life long dream of playing in the NFL.
In an interview with ESPN, Barkley spoke on his decision to for go his senior season and sign with Roc Nation Sports stating:
“It was a really easy decision,” he said. “A lot of people came around my way, but they were focused on me and they did a great job at selling my family on setting me up for life, bringing value outside of football. I felt like it was harder for other agencies to pitch that family feel when they were working with 30 or 40 guys.”
Just one day after Penn State’s 35-28 Fiesta Bowl victory, Barkley revealed that he would forgo his senior season to turn pro, which many speculated. Barkely finished his final bowl game racking up 175 total yards and two touchdowns.
