It was Gucci Mane night in the ATL, as the Atlanta Hawks took on the visiting New Orleans Pelicans.
Anthony Davis and the Pelicans out muscled the Hawks in the First Quarter as they would continue to dominate the remainder of the game.
New Orleans saw big play from floor general Tim Frazier as he chipped in 21 points and dished out 14 assist to go along with it.
Despite battling flu like symptoms Terrence Ross also came up big on the evening contributing 17 points of his own.
Last nights victory marked New Orleans 3rd straight win as they came out victorious 112-94 over the Atlanta Hawks.
“We just came out hungry,” Tim Frazier said. “We jumped on them from the start. We continued to fight the whole game and we have to credit everyone who stepped on the court.”
On the opposite side of the ball the Dennis Schroder and Kyle Korver both scored 14 for the Hawks, despite trailing by 20 at the end of the first quarter.
Following the game the Pelicans received good news in regards to superstar Anthony Davis who dove into the 4th row for a loose ball banging his leg against a chair.
Davis saw limited action the remaining of the game, but Coach Alvin Gentry did inform the media that he felt confident putting Davis back in the rotation during the 4th Quarter despite suffering the first quarter injury.
The Pelicans and the Hawks are in action tonight as they host Minnesota on Wednesday at home. Atlanta will visit Indiana to take on former Hawk Jeff Teague and the Indian Pacers.
