The last few road game have been tough for the Atlanta Hawks, but they entered State Farm Arena Thursday evening looking to bounce back from their 136-114 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Cleveland secured their first win of the season behind a solid night from Rodney Hood.
Atlanta played the first half even keel against the Kings in Thursday nights match up, but the tables quickly turned in the 3rd quarter.
As of late the Hawk seem to struggle in the 3rd quarter and find themselves playing catch up in the 4th.
Despite the deficit, the Hawks saw big play from Jeremy Lin, scoring a game high 23 points in 24 minutes. Lin saw more action Thursday evening after Hawks Rookie Kevin Huerter went down to was speculated to be an ankle injury.
Following the loss Hawks Head Coach LP revealed that Lin delivered a passionate locker room speech to the team letting them know how blessed they were to be in the position they are in, and finishing it off with a challenge to get better.
The Hawks look to redeem themselves against the (3-4) Miami Heat as Dwyane Wade and company come to town.
