Monday night  (Nov.6) in Atlanta, the Hawks return home following an exciting win on the road over the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Hawks would be faced with another challenge as they would face up against Kyrie Irving and the Boston Celtics.

Although the Hawks fell short to the Celtics, Coach Bud did credit his group for putting together a great effort overall.

The Atlanta Hawks started off strong scoring four straight baskets before the Boston Celtics went on a nine point run.

Much of the night we saw the Hawks go to a three point guard system (Taylor, Schroder and Delaney) showing off an interesting but effective small ball offense.

The second half of proved to be nothing less than exciting. The Celtics scored 13 points in the 3rd Quarter, but John Collins continued to make a name for himself doing John Collins like things.

Now let’s not forget about back up PG Malcolm Delaney who came in and lit up the score board for the Hawks in the second half. Delaney knocked down two back-to-back three’s followed by a score from Kent Bazemore capping a 15-4 run.

Without a doubt it was a strong showing for the home team, and a great effort put together by the Boston Celtics.
