WGCI Host New Year’s Eve Comedy Jam At The Arie Crown Theatre Chicago

As many rang in the New Year around the world, the city of Chicago provided laughter to many and, and man was it a night to remember.

Dec. 31 WGCI’s New Year’s Eve Comedy Jam was held at The Arie Crown Theatre in Chicago which was hosted by Comedian Leon Rogers and NeNe Leakes.

Leon and NeNe double teamed the interludes with audience jokes, flirtation and NeNe’s infectious smile.

DC Young Fly hit the stage first with his “Bring Dat Ass Here” voice to a sold out Chi-Town crowd. Lil Duval graced the stage next and hit his signature “Kill Em With The Shoulders” dance.

Next up, the energetic Michael Blackson a.k.a “The African King of Comedy, ran out on stage to West African music using the mic stand as a spear.

Chicago native Deon Cole reference his home town of Chicago in his jokes even speaking on all the Adriana Furs in the house (Chicago Fur sales and repair store) and had the audience singing the classic commercial jingle.

Last but not least was DeRay Davis with his name in lights who put together such an amazing line up. DeRay was hilarious and creativity touched on the police killings that took place. For the finale, all the comedians & the host stepped on stage for the final roast session of 2016.
